Hello Xclusives! hope you all had a wonderful day? as you all know, today is Wednesday and its still mid-week for our corporate dressing readers who wear suit to work and other occasions. So we will be giving some tips and pieces of advice to put into consideration when buying or sewing your suit jacket. A lapel is the part on each side of a coat or jacket immediately below the collar which is folded back on either side of the front opening. This is an important factor to consider before choosing a suit jacket.

BODY TYPES
Suits most body types and is not recommended if you have an extremely round face
Notch Lapel- The notch is the most common type of lapel on suits, its characteristic feature is the opening where the bottom collar meets the top of the lapel this place is called the "notch" its usually at a 75-90 degree angle. Its often found on single-breasted suit, and sport coats.

Everyday business (Offices and meetings), Interview.
BODY TYPE
All body types, slim notch would suit someone with a slim frame.
Peak Lapel (Pointed lapel) - This are traditionally the most formal and are found on most suit jacket.They are originally common in formal wear garments such as tail coat and morning coats .

Weddings, Dinners and formal events.
BODY TYPE
For those looking for some added height the point of the peak lapel can create an elongating effect by moving the eyes upwards towards the shoulder this elongating effect has a slimming, so larger gents might want to try this .
